Non-injectable treatment is now possible with the use of Fractional Erbium:YAG laser directly targets the lips for collagen stimulation, giving rise to a plumper appearance.

Are there any side effects?

After the laser treatment, one may feel dryness and mild swelling followed by peeling of the skin 1-2 days later. With proper hydration and lip balm, the reaction is extremely tolerable. Injectables with hyaluronic acid might cause some bruising at the injection site and tenderness which normally subside after a few days.
